Join Greater Toronto Council Summer Adventures as we meet in Sections to watch a movie on Netflix (you need a Netflix account to be able to participate). July 20 @ 7:00pm - via ZOOM Join Greater Toronto Council during our Summer Adventures as we learn from one of our very own Scouters who has worked with the Canadian Space Agency and NASA! Scouter Leif Bloomquist from 18th Willowdale is also a Software Systems Engineer with MDA (creators of the Canadarm). Most recently he was involved with Canada's contribution to the OSIRIS-REx mission to study the asteroid Bennu. We'll learn about some of the discoveries from that mission with some cool pictures, interactive online games and virtual experiences. We'll also hear about some famous Scouts who have gone to space, and different careers within the space industry.
